As well as being a very busy office, we’re pleased to be told by so many schools and teachers how warm and genuine we are.
We’re proud of the excellent relationships we’ve developed with schools and the links we have with Local Authorities and teachers across the region. We provide supply staff for all manner of education establishments, from the heart of Cardiff itself and into the Valleys. We understand what our schools need and we take pride in making a real difference to the lives of their pupils.
A short 5 minute stroll from our office will see you at the magnificent Millennium Stadium which is right at the heart of the city and is the home of Welsh rugby. Cardiff is also the home of the cricket test venue, the SWALEC Stadium in Sophia Gardens which is just around the corner to our office.
The name Cardiff comes from the Welsh Caerdyf (later changed to Caerdydd) meaning ‘Fort on the River Taff’. This is in direct reference to the Roman fort that was established in 50 AD.
In the 1830s Cardiff became the main port for exports of coal from the Cynon, Rhondda, and Rhymney valleys, and grew at a rate of nearly 80% per decade between 1840 and 1870. By 1881 Cardiff was the largest town in Wales and subsequently was chosen as the site for the University College of South Wales.
Cardiff is an excellent starting place to explore the beautiful valleys of South Wales. Amongst the many attractions within easy reach of Cardiff are the magnificent Brecon Beacons; World Heritage site Blaenavon with its superb Big Pit attraction, the Rhondda Heritage Park and Barry Island – home of Stacey from Gavin and Stacey!
In the capital city of Wales, with history, culture and friendly people, come to see us where you’ll receive a warm welcome and an honest and professional service.
