TeacherActive are proud to be working with a fantastic primary school based in Sutton-in-Ashfield who are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant / TA to join their friendly, supportive team. The position is working on a 1:1 basis with an SEN pupil in a mainstream class.

This role commences April 2023 and will run until the end of the summer term (July 2023).

Then right SEN Teaching Assistant / TA will be committed to high standards, actively promoting a safe, secure and happy learning environment that encourages pupils to succeed in often challenging circumstances. TeacherActive are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who have some experience working with children with disabilities, but applications are welcome from any Teaching Assistants with a range of SEND experience.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant / TA should have the following:

*Experience working in an SEN classroom

*A passion for working with children who have special needs

*A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines

*Experience supporting in 1:1 and group situations
