TeacherActive is looking for a Teaching Assistant in Hull who is looking for full time work on a day to day, short or long term basis. This role is to support the class teacher in class and also working in small groups, supporting pupils, reading/writing and doing interventions for those pupils who need extra support. This role would suit someone who is passionate and dedicated in helping children's learning.

Working as a Teaching Assistant you would need to create fun and stimulating activities for pupils, ensuring their safety and help promote their learning and development. It will involve supporting the class teacher and maintaining high levels of support towards children's education.

The role is temporary in the first instance with a permanent position becoming available for the right TA/ Teaching Assistant. This role is for someone who is looking for work 5 days a week, term time only.

* Knowledge of the curriculum
* Previous classroom based experience
* Possess good interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with staff and pupils
