TeacherActive Swansea are nestled in the hustle and bustle of Swansea City Centre. From the office we can see the glorious view of Swansea Bay with the Mumbles Pier to the right and the industrial view of Port Talbot to the left.

We’re a friendly team and we pride ourselves on being warm and genuine – we always take a real interest in what our schools want and what our teachers and support workers need for their careers.  Schools across the region rely on us for all types of staffing needs and we’re a very busy bunch!

With a short walk you can take in the Dylan Thomas Centre, the famous Yacht Bridge and the vibrant nightlife of the marina. Dylan Thomas is an icon in Swansea and the Dylan Thomas Centre itself boasts many of his written pieces and the history of his life. His poetry is amplified across the city and as you leave the train station in Swansea you will see on the ground one of his famous quotes, ‘Ambition is Critical’.

Swansea is renowned for the ‘Swansea Jack’ a term which derived from a famous dog in the 1930s who it was claimed saved 27 people from the Swansea docks. The term is now proudly owned by Swansea City Football Club supporters who are known as ‘Jacks’. Proudly, Swansea now have established themselves as a team to be reckoned with in the English Premier League. Not only do we have a successful football team; South Wales can boast the success of the Ospreys and Scarlets Rugby Clubs.

Wales has beautiful scenery and we are lucky to be on the doorstep of the Gower Peninsula which is home to some of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches and spots in Wales. It is known as an ‘area of outstanding beauty’ and is a must see when travelling to Wales. Not only do we have the Gower – we are lucky to be close to the Gnoll Park in Neath, Pembrey Park in Llanelli and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Being Welsh is amazing. Working in the Swansea office is even better. We’re really proud of what we do and the difference we make. We look forward to meeting you!
