TeacherActive is proud to be working with an OFSTED Outstanding nursery in Leeds, who are looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join their welcoming and supportive team. The setting prides itself on nurturing every child’s individuality through creative learning experiences and is committed to developing staff through ongoing training and clear career progression pathways.
The nursery is looking to take on an Early Years Practitioner on a long-term basis with the opportunity to secure a permanent position. The successful Early Years Practitioner will be based within the preschool room, supporting children aged 2-5 years through engaging activities, creative play and early communication development, while helping to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or a relevant degree in Arts, Music, Speech and Language or a related creative subject
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A passion for creativity, music, communication and child development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive and nurturing approach
