TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Basildon, Essex, who are looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner. Boasting fantastic learning facilities for the students, this setting has recently been awarded a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating. The school is looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a long-term basis, potentially leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can thrive and develop key skills.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
