Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role
As a Baby Room Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the care, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0–2 years. You will work closely with colleagues and parents to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where babies can thrive and reach their developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment that supports babies' individual needs and development.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate learning and development records.
- Support children's personal care routines, including feeding, changing, sleeping, and hygiene practices.
- Build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on their child's development and wellbeing.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times and promote the welfare of all children.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth day-to-day running of the baby room.
- Promote inclusion, equality, and diversity within the setting.
Requirements
- A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience working within a nursery baby room is desirable.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
