TeacherActive are proud to be working with a lovely nursery based in Chelmsford, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their supportive and experienced team.
This nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment where every child is treated as an individual and supported through each stage of their development. The team are committed to providing stimulating, engaging, and play-based learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

The nursery is conveniently located close to both the train station and bus station, making it easily accessible for those who do not drive.
This position is available for an immediate start. However, if you are currently working a notice period, we’re happy to arrange a call to discuss the best possible start date for you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Act as a keyperson, building strong relationships with children and their families
Observe, assess, and track each child’s progress, identifying next steps for learning and development
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality learning experiences for every child
Demonstrate a sound understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity in the early years
Requirements:
A Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting
A caring, confident, and proactive approach to supporting children’s development
A genuine passion for early years education and helping children thrive
The salary for this position will vary depending on experience.
