SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in South Bromsgrove- ASAP Start
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic SEND TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants in a school in Bromsgrove . It is to support within classes across KS3/Key Stage 3 and KS4/Key Stage 4 but may envolves supporting other classrooms.
Students have a range of educational needs including ASD/ Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
The post requires caring and nurturing individual who is dedicated to supporting children with educational needs.
All applicants must have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with children and young people with special educational needs.
You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.
The role will also include:
- Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
- 1-1 work with students who require additional support
- Leading group work
- Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
