A school in the Welsh Valleys are looking for a Teaching Assistant - ALN 1:1 with expertise in supporting pupils with additional learning needs is wanted by TeacherActive. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant - ALN 1:1 with Additional Learning Needs / ALN specialism to cover day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in and out of the classroom. This is a great chance to develop your experience and to work as a Teaching Assistant - ALN 1:1 in a child-centred, hard-working environment.
The ideal Teaching Assistant - ALN 1:1 EYFS should have the following:
- Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
- Experience and/ or qualifications exemplifying Additional Learning Needs awareness and experience
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
- TeamTeach or MAPA training (optional)
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
