A Newport Teaching Assistant / TA with expertise in Additional Learning Needs / ALN is wanted by TeacherActive. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant / TA with Additional Learning Needs / ALN specialism to cover day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in and out of the classroom. This is a great chance to gain an vital experience and to work as a Teaching Assistant / TA with Additional Learning Needs / ALN specialism within a warm, exciting and inclusive environment.
The ideal Teaching Assistant / TA should have the following:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment.
- Teaching Assistant qualifications are welcome.
- Experience and/ or qualifications exemplifying Additional Learning Needs awareness and experience.
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Good communication skills.
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
