Part-Time Supply Teachers – Tower Hamlets & Surrounding Areas
Location: Tower Hamlets and neighbouring boroughs (e.g. Hackney, Newham, Bethnal Green)
Pay: £150–£200 per day (PAYE)

TeacherActive is working with a number of vibrant and inclusive primary schools in and around Tower Hamlets who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Supply Teachers across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and pre-planned lessons aligned with the National Curriculum

• Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment

• Adapt quickly to new school settings and follow each school's policies and procedures

• Mark all completed classwork and leave brief handover notes for the returning teacher

• Provide support to pupils and respond to their individual learning needs

• Liaise with support staff and SLT when necessary to ensure smooth transitions

• Be punctual, professional, and proactive in all school environments

✅ Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has recent experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)

• Is confident managing a classroom independently and delivering lessons at short notice

• Can complete all required marking and handover professionally

• Is open to opportunities for longer-term roles and progression

• Brings a positive, flexible, and professional attitude to each placement
