TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in Maldon, which currently supports around 50 children. The setting provides high-quality care and engaging learning opportunities, with a strong focus on helping children feel safe, secure, and confident as they develop. With a love of books and reading at its heart, the nursery places a strong emphasis on communication, language, and independence.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join the team on a long-term basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. You will primarily be working in the baby room, but flexibility across the nursery is essential. The role involves supporting children’s development, planning new opportunities for growth, and working closely with the wider team to provide a nurturing environment.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience in an early years setting

• Strong understanding of child development and how young children learn

• A positive, caring, and adaptable approach
