As a qualified professional, you will be expected to:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification for KS1
• Have proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and effectively managing a diverse classroom
• Possess a current Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
• Be able to provide two recent and relevant references to support your application
• Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills, along with a nurturing and proactive teaching approach

• Works collaboratively with other staff and contributes to the development of KS1 teaching practices and school-wide initiatives
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and consistently maintains high standards in planning, teaching, and assessment
• Brings relevant experience in Key Stage 1 and quickly adapts to new classroom settings and routines
• Shows excellent organisational skills and communicates clearly with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Creates a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and confidence in young learners
