School Caretaker

We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in Cullompton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical maintenance skills and a strong sense of responsibility to play a key role in keeping the school safe, clean, and running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out day-to-day site maintenance and repairs
• Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are safe and secure
• Supporting with health & safety procedures
• Undertaking cleaning, porterage, and general caretaking duties
• Opening and closing the school as required

What we’re looking for:

• Previous caretaking, facilities, or maintenance experience (school setting desirable but not essential)
• A practical, hands-on approach and problem-solving skills
• Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment for staff and pupils
