The Role: Science Technician

Pay Scale: £90 - £110 per day
Job Description:
TeacherActive are looking for a Science Technician in Middlesbrough. We have an amazing opportunity to work within the local schools in the Middlesbrough area. We create amazing rapport with our schools and support all our staff with the on-boarding process! The schools have many ambitions to achieve including a strong focus on creating a culture of success and positivity towards learning.
The position is full-time and will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. As a science technician you will play a vital role within the Science department and reporting to the appropriate staff members when required.

The successful candidate will have:
- Have proven experience in a laboratory or school prep room.
- Have highly developed communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Have energy, enthusiasm and initiative.
- Competent to trial, prepare and set up practicals in all 3 Sciences disciplines for lessons.
