We are seeking a dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to join through TeacherActive. The school supports children aged 9–16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, creating a safe, nurturing, and personalised learning environment.

As a Primary SEND Teacher, you will deliver personalised lessons, help pupils build confidence, and support their social and emotional growth. The school values relationships above all, ensuring that every Primary SEND Teacher has the time and space to make a real impact in small class settings.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to EHCP outcomes and pupil interests

• Create a calm, inclusive classroom where pupils feel safe and supported

• Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals

• Support pupils’ social and emotional development alongside academic progress

• Contribute to a broad, flexible curriculum

About You:

• QTS with Primary teaching experience

• Passion for supporting pupils with ASD and/or SEMH

• Flexible, patient, and creative approach

• Strong commitment to teamwork
