We are proud to be working with a thriving secondary school in the Medway area that is looking for a dedicated Social Sciences Teacher to join their team for the new academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a range of social sciences subjects – such as Sociology, Psychology, and Health & Social Care – and to inspire students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of social science subjects.
Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum and exam board specifications.
Support students in developing analytical, evaluative, and research skills.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school’s policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and school events.
The ideal candidate will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, with a specialism in a social sciences subject (ECTs welcome).
Experience teaching Social Sciences at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
