Bilingual Tutor (Russian & English) Wanted – 1:1 Support for Young Person in Maidstone
Are you a patient and empathetic tutor looking to make a real difference in a young person’s life?
We’re seeking a dedicated tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with a young person in Maidstone who is currently out of mainstream education. The student requires personalised support due to an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan).
About the Role:
You’ll be helping the learner re-engage with education through a flexible, nurturing approach. This will include:
Delivering tailored lessons (English, Maths and core subjects)
Supporting language development (Russian & English preferred)
Working in the student’s home or community setting
Providing encouragement, structure and emotional support
Liaising with parents/carers and professionals
What We’re Looking For:
A tutor with experience supporting children with EHCPs, SEND or behavioural needs
Bilingual (Russian & English) – highly desirable
Strong background in teaching or tutoring (QTS, HLTA or equivalent)
Patient, resilient and creative in adapting lessons to suit individual needs
Ability to work independently and flexibly
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Tutor Location & Hours:
Based in Maidstone
Flexible hours (term-time, with some holiday sessions available)
Competitive hourly rates (dependent on experience and qualifications)
