Job Title: Cover Supervisor (TEFL / CELTA / English Language Specialist)
Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary: £110 – £130 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day supply

TeacherActive is working closely with secondary schools in Bath that require reliable Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply cover. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in TEFL, CELTA, or English language teaching who are confident leading classrooms and supporting students with literacy and language development.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work, maintain positive behaviour, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absence

• Delivering and explaining pre-set lesson content

• Supporting students with English language and literacy needs

• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment

This role is well suited to candidates who:

• Hold a TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent English language qualification

• Have experience working with young people or in educational settings

• Are confident leading groups and managing behaviour

• Have strong communication and organisational skills

• Are flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments
