Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools across Bath. We are looking to expand our team of dedicated Cover Supervisors for ongoing and future opportunities.
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, and help students stay on task and motivated throughout the school day. This is an excellent opportunity for those with prior experience in education — such as teaching assistants, mentors, tutors, or learning support staff — who are keen to step up into a Cover Supervisor position.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will:
Have prior experience working in an educational setting (e.g. TA, HLTA, mentor, or similar role)
Be confident managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere
Be adaptable, reliable, and able to engage students across a range of subjects
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
Be available for day-to-day, short-term, or long-term placements
