The Role

As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, ensuring students develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding required for success in the health and social care sector.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons following the BTEC and/or OCR Health & Social Care curriculum.

• Inspiring and supporting students to achieve strong academic and vocational outcomes.

• Creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence.

• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development.

• Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback to learners.

Requirements

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised post-16 teaching qualification.
✅ Experience teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 and/or KS5.
✅ Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of vocational pathways.
✅ A commitment to inspiring students and raising aspirations.
✅ A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
