Are you a passionate HLTA looking to support and inspire young learners? We’d love to welcome a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to our friendly and supportive network of SEND schools across Swindon. In this rewarding role, you’ll help shape positive learning experiences for pupils from EYFS to KS5, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons as a confident HLTA, supporting learning across the classroom
Work alongside teachers to plan and deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
Promote a positive, inclusive environment and support pupil well-being
Provide clear and constructive feedback on pupil progress
Assist with learning resources, classroom displays, and day-to-day preparation
Support assessment, record-keeping, and individual learning plans
Play a proactive role in supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, or additional needs
What We’re Looking For
A recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in a UK school setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
Confidence delivering whole-class teaching when required
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
