A welcoming one-form entry Primary School in Saltley, rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their wonderful team from January 2026.

✨ The Role
This Maternity Cover role involves teaching a delightful Year 1 class who are eager to learn and full of curiosity. You’ll help guide them through a crucial stage of their learning journey — nurturing their confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for school life.
We’re looking for a teacher who:
✅ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply!
✅ Has experience in KS1, ideally with Year 1 pupils
✅ Has high expectations for all children’s learning and progress
✅ Is creative, reflective, and adaptable in their approach to teaching
✅ Works brilliantly as part of a supportive and collaborative team
