Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team at a welcoming school based in the East Riding. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping young people reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development, both in class and on a one-to-one basis. You will help to create a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere, ensuring that every student receives the encouragement and support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with their learning, including those with additional needs
• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the school
• Help to monitor and record pupil progress
• Provide emotional and pastoral support where required

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

• Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children’s education
• Has good communication and teamwork skills
• Can adapt to meet the needs of individual learners
• Ideally holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or has equivalent experience)
