TeacherActive is working closely with several warm, community-focused primary schools in the BS14 area — including Whitchurch and Hengrove — who are looking to welcome new KS2 Teaching Assistants this term.

Your Role:
Support children aged 7–11 with learning, wellbeing, and confidence in and out of class
Lead or assist small-group activities in English and maths
Work collaboratively with teachers to create an engaging, inclusive environment
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff across the school community
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children in KS2 or a similar setting
A calm, proactive, and caring approach to classroom support
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
