TeacherActive is working with a welcoming, inclusive primary school in central Bristol that’s looking to appoint a KS2 Teaching Assistant for an immediate or September start. What We’re Looking For:

• Availability to start immediately or from September

• A calm, consistent approach and ability to work well under direction and independently

• Experience supporting pupils in literacy, numeracy, and topic subjects

• Confidence running small group interventions and helping children engage with learning

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

The Role Includes:

• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation

• Leading small group work—especially in maths and reading

• Providing targeted, confidence-boosting support to individual pupils

• Encouraging engagement through interactive and practical learning

• Building strong relationships with staff, pupils, and families

• Flexible options for part-time or full-time work depending on your availability
