TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Braintree in their search for a Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a nurturing and forward-thinking setting that focuses on each child’s individual development and wellbeing through creative, play-based learning.
The nursery provides a stimulating and engaging environment both indoors and outdoors, encouraging children to explore, discover and develop essential life skills in a safe and supportive setting.
The nursery is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner, ideally holding a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education, to join their team on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and may work across different age groups, supporting children aged 6 weeks to 4 years.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education (required)
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
A positive, ‘can-do’ approach and willingness to get involved
A caring, patient and adaptable nature
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
