Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £13.69 –£19.00 per hour
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Chelmsford in their search for a Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a warm and positive team who focus on child engagement through a therapeutic approach.
The nursery cares for up to 125 children, with both indoor and outdoor areas divided into age-appropriate spaces designed to encourage sensory exploration and development. The team ensures children are supported to challenge themselves and take safe, rewarding risks in a secure environment.
The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and may be required to work across all rooms, supporting children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. With the nursery growing, there are also career progression opportunities for the right person.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
Level 3 qualification (desirable)
Level 2 qualification (required)
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
A positive, ‘can-do’ approach and willingness to get involved
Flexibility and adaptability
