Level 3 Nursery Practitioner | Chelmsford

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a wonderful nursery based in Chelmsford, who are seeking two Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their dedicated and passionate team.

At this nursery, every child is treated as an individual on their own unique learning journey. Each child is supported and guided through their stages of development by a qualified keyperson who encourages, nurtures, and maintains high expectations for all their key children. The team work together to provide challenging, stimulating, and exciting activities that promote learning through play and fun.

The staff are passionate, motivated, and committed to putting children first. Every practitioner is encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, sharing best practice and continually enhancing their skills to maintain the highest standards of care and education.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and promote development in line with the EYFS framework

• Act as a keyperson, ensuring every child feels valued, safe, and supported in their learning journey

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a warm and inclusive environment

• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, identifying next steps to support ongoing development

• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for all children

• Work collaboratively with the team to uphold the nursery’s high standards of care and learning

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity in the early years setting

Requirements:

• A Level 3 Early Years and Childcare qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting

• A caring, confident, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development

• A genuine passion for early years education and child development

The salary for these positions will vary depending on experience.
