Nursery Assistants

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a number of nurseries across Bristol, supporting them with temporary and permanent recruitment, as well as providing day-to-day cover for sickness and annual leave. These nurseries care for children aged five and under, ensuring they are kept safe, supported, and given every opportunity to learn and develop new skills in a nurturing environment.

TeacherActive is currently seeking flexible Nursery Assistants to provide day-to-day cover across nurseries in the Bristol area. This role is ideal for individuals looking for part-time work alongside college or university studies, or for those wanting to gain valuable experience working with young children within the Early Years sector.

The role offers flexible working hours, allowing successful applicants to choose their availability to suit their own needs. Applicants must have previous experience caring for children under the age of five.

The successful Nursery Assistants will:

• Be eager to learn new skills and gain further knowledge of the Early Years sector
• Be enthusiastic about completing training in key areas such as Safeguarding and the EYFS curriculum
• Have a caring, patient, and positive approach to working with young children
