Salary: £130 – £160 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you a caring and committed Early Years Teacher or Nursery Practitioner looking for a long-term opportunity in a welcoming and well-established nursery setting in Bristol?

Do you hold QTS, a PGCE in Early Years, or a Level 2 childcare qualification and have a passion for supporting children in their earliest stages of learning?

We are working closely with a wonderful nursery in Bristol that is looking to welcome a new Early Years professional into their team. This is a long-term position with the strong possibility of progressing to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Set in a fantastic area with excellent transport links, this nursery is known for its warm atmosphere, high-quality care, and strong leadership. You’ll be supported by a well-established team of experienced practitioners who are passionate about creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for young children to thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading or supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework

  • Observing and assessing children’s progress, and contributing to their learning journeys

  • Promoting a positive, secure, and inclusive learning space for children aged 0–5

  • Communicating effectively with staff, parents, and carers to support each child’s individual needs

  • Supporting the implementation of key routines, safeguarding, and health & safety policies

We welcome applications from candidates who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE in Early Years, or a Level 2/3 Childcare Qualification

  • Have previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting

  • Understand the EYFS curriculum and early child development milestones

  • Have excellent teamwork, communication, and behaviour management skills

  • Are enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to providing outstanding care and education
