Science Teacher – Stockport
Full-time | KS3 & KS4 | January 2026
Are you a passionate and dynamic Science Teacher ready to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in the next generation?
We are working in partnership with a high-achieving, inclusive secondary school in Stockport, known for its strong community values, high expectations, and commitment to developing well-rounded young people. The school is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their thriving department starting in January 2026.
This is a full-time role, teaching General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The post is initially until Easter, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity for the right person.
The Successful candidate will:
Hold QTS (or equivalent) with a Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science)
Deliver engaging, well-structured and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management, promoting high standards and positive relationships
Be fully committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Work collaboratively within a supportive department to enhance outcomes and curriculum delivery
