Are you a dedicated Science Teacher looking for a highly supportive, academically driven school environment?
We’re working with a well-established selective secondary school in Maidstone known for excellent teaching standards, strong student behaviour and achievement, and a “Good” rating from its most recent inspection.

This role is ideal for someone seeking a meaningful term-time contract: full-time from January through to the May half-term, focusing on planning, marking and delivering science lessons. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT ready to shine in a high-expectation setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons (KS3–KS4)

• Marking student work and assessments in line with departmental policy

• Supporting learners across ability levels to achieve strong outcomes

• Working in a structured, high-standard school environment with a motivated student body

• Collaborating with the Science department and contributing to the school’s ambition for excellence

✅ What We’re Looking For

• QTS (or equivalent) in Science (ECTs welcome)

• Good subject knowledge across Science (preferably with KS4 experience)

• Strong classroom management and a positive approach to student learning

• Able to commit from January through to the May half-term, full-time

• Enthusiastic, organised and ready to hit the ground running
