Are you a proactive and enthusiastic Science Technician looking for your next role? A welcoming and progressive secondary school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join their Science Department as soon as possible.
The Role:
Support the delivery of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stages
Prepare, set up and tidy away equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons
Ensure laboratories are maintained to a safe and high standard
Assist with stock control, ordering supplies and organising resources
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance the learning experience
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Science Technician or relevant laboratory experience
Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to start immediately and attend interviews at short notice
Enhanced DBS check required
