TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a nurturing specialist setting in Somerset that’s dedicated to supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. Here, learning is shaped around each individual — empowering pupils to grow in confidence, develop independence, and gain vital life skills within a safe, inclusive, and creative environment.

We’re seeking a SEND Teacher to work part-time across both primary and secondary phases, supporting learners aged 4–19. Pupils may have Autism (ASD), Learning Difficulties (LD), or more complex needs, and every day offers the chance to make a meaningful difference to their progress and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will bring:
✅ QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs such as ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD, or SEMH
A compassionate, flexible approach and the ability to engage learners through creativity, patience, and therapeutic practice
