Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

About the Role:

• Teach A-Level Sociology to engaged and motivated sixth form students.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, stimulating lessons that encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
• Participate in wider college life and uphold the institution’s values and ethos.

About You:

• A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a degree in Sociology or a related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching post-16 learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Must hold a valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
