Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Taunton
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £90 – £100 per day
Hours: Full Time

Do you have experience working with children or young adults with ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Taunton that provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with a wide range of additional needs. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a real impact in the lives of their students.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Have experience supporting students with ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD
Be comfortable with providing Personal Care when required
Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Have at least 6 months’ experience in a specialist or SEND setting
Work effectively as part of a supportive team of teaching and support staff
