This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Teacher of Chemistry to join a successful and forward-thinking Science department.

The successful candidate will teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting GCSE students to achieve excellent outcomes and developing their confidence and curiosity in Science.

You may also be required to contribute to lessons across the wider Science curriculum when needed.

The Successful Teacher of Chemistry will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the U.K
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, including GCSE groups.
• Support and monitor pupil progress through effective assessment, feedback and differentiated teaching.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the Science faculty.
• Encourage a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, experimentation and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across Science.
• Be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to support additional GCSE intervention or booster sessions where required.
• Hold (or be willing and eligible to apply immediately for) an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service.
