Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant (Level 2 )

Salary: £89 – £95 per day

Do you hold a Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification and have a passion for helping young people reach their full potential?
TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Trowbridge, which is seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term role, ideal for someone who is committed to supporting students with a range of learning needs and helping them achieve academic and personal success.
The school has a strong focus on inclusion and student wellbeing, with a friendly staff team and excellent facilities. You’ll be supporting students both in class and in small group or one-to-one sessions, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Have experience supporting students in a secondary school or similar educational setting
Be confident supporting learners with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to meet individual learning targets
Be patient, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives
