Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time

These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children, supporting their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups to help them access the curriculum.

• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and classroom organisation.

• Provide targeted support for children with SEND needs such as autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language, or SEMH.

• Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children in primary education (EYFS–KS2).

• A positive, patient and proactive approach to working with young learners.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting children with a range of needs.
