TeacherActive are looking for a Level 2 TA / Teaching Assistant in Newark to have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools. We build great relationships with our schools and support staff so we can find the best placements for you.
We are looking for a Level 2 TA / Teaching Assistant to cover a long term placement supporting children in a variety of classes with their education. This is a great chance to gain abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The successful Teaching Assistant /TA will have:
- Support individual pupils or small groups in and out of the classroom
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet specific needs
- Promote emotional and social development
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and Parents/Guardians
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people in education with a calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for education and supporting learners with diverse needs
- Relevant qualifications: level 2 Teaching Assistant
