TeacherActive are proud to be working alongside a fantastic Secondary Schools based in Scunthorpe. We are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support the school and the staff within the ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in our schools and an integral part to the learning and progression of their pupils. You will be based there either on day to day, long-term roles or, for the right candidate, could develop to a permanent role.

As a Cover Supervisor you won’t be asked to complete planning or preparation, however, strong communication and behaviour/classroom management skills are essential.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• 6 months experience of working within a school or a similar setting.
• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom whilst ensuring students remain engaged
• Have a flexible approach and be prepared to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily systems
• Knowledge of school school systems such as Bromcom
