A successful and inclusive 11–18 secondary school and sixth form in St Helens is seeking a confident, organised, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join its dedicated team. You will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff, working across a range of subjects and year groups. The school prides itself on its supportive culture, high expectations, and strong community values.

the successful applicant will be working in key stage 3/ KS3 and key stage 4/ KS4 Utilising their strong classroom presence and management to tackle the daily challenges in a classroom environment. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation; however, a strong initiative and good communication skills are a must.

The Successful Cover supervisor will have:

• Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (preferred)
• Be confident managing classroom routines and supporting student engagement
• Be calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to promoting the school’s values and high standards
• Be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
