TeacherActive is proud to be working with SEND schools across the West Midlands, who are looking for dedicated Cover Supervisors. This is a rewarding role where you will support pupils with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties, and more.

The Role

As a SEND Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher
• Support pupils with their work and ensure they remain engaged
• Follow behaviour support and EHCP strategies
• Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff
• Maintain a calm, positive, and structured learning environment

Requirements

• Experience within SEND or behaviour support (highly desirable)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
