Job Title: Design and Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Bristol
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Bristol, seeking to appoint a passionate and committed DT Teacher from September 2025. This long-term role is to cover a planned staff absence and offers the chance to teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 in a collaborative and well-resourced setting.

As a DT Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and practical lessons across KS3–KS5

• Support students with coursework and project-based assessments

• Contribute to a forward-thinking and inclusive DT curriculum

• Work alongside a team of enthusiastic subject specialists

• Get involved in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular opportunities

We’re looking for a DT Teacher who has:

• QTS or equivalent UK/recognised teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge in Design and Technology

• A creative, structured approach to teaching and learning

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential
