Job Title: English & Sociology Teacher (QTS or ECT)
Location: Bath
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Full-time, Long-term

TeacherActive is working in partnership with a wonderful secondary school in Bath, known for its inclusive ethos, excellent leadership, and commitment to student progress. The school is looking to appoint a full-time English Teacher who can also deliver Sociology, starting ASAP. For the right candidate, this role could lead to a permanent position.
This is not a speculative post – the school has a clear requirement and is ready to welcome a teacher who can inspire, engage, and support learners across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with strong subject knowledge
Be confident teaching English across KS3–KS4, and Sociology at KS4 or KS5
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and a passion for inclusive education
Be committed to long-term teaching and contributing to the wider school community
Be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues
