About the School & Role

This is a maternity cover position, running from April 2026 until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching a lovely Year 2 class, supporting pupils during a key transition point in Key Stage 1, where strong foundations for learning are essential.

The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and is widely recognised for its welcoming, supportive, and collaborative staff team. ‍ The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  (ECTs are encouraged to apply!)

• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1

• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress and achievement

• Use a creative, engaging, and innovative teaching approach

• Be committed, flexible, and a strong team player

• Have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to children’s lives
