Job Title: Key Stage 1 Teacher
Location: Bristol
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £120 - £160 per day
TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside some of Bristol’s most welcoming and inclusive primary schools, and we are currently seeking enthusiastic Key Stage 1/KS1 Teachers to support pupils in Years 1 and 2.
We are looking for teachers who are passionate about early learning, confident in delivering engaging, play-informed lessons, and skilled at supporting children as they develop key foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Whether you are an experienced Key Stage 1/KS1 practitioner, an ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom, we have a range of flexible opportunities available from day-to-day supply to long-term and permanent roles.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience or confidence teaching Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2)
✅ Strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and early learning principles
✅ Ability to deliver engaging, structured lessons that support early development
✅ A nurturing, patient, and encouraging approach to behaviour and learning
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
