Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (Level 2 Teaching Assistant)

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

Do you have a Level 2 (or above) Teaching Assistant certificate and a passion for helping pupils thrive both in and out of the classroom?
TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in Frome that is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting pupils within the school's resource base as well as providing classroom support as a general Teaching Assistant.
The school has a strong focus on creating a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can access learning at their level. You’ll be working closely with experienced teachers and SEN staff to deliver individualised support and promote positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
Hold a Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification
Have experience supporting children with SEND in either a resource base or mainstream setting
Be patient, reliable, and confident in supporting learners with a range of needs
Work effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet individual learning targets
Be proactive, positive, and committed to making a difference every day
